More GLK Speculation: Automobile Magazine Reports On Mercedes' Upcoming Small SUV |

Although it's not rumored to be hitting dealerships until sometime in
late 2008, the fine gentlemen over at Automobile magazine recently took a
moment to speculate about the GLK, offering a small glimpse as to what
they believe we can expect to see from Mercedes' upcoming small SUV.
According to the publication, the GLK, which will be based on a 2008 C-
Class 4MATIC chassis, is going to feature a number of changes over the
standard's C's underpinnings, including new steering rack, bigger brakes
and a modified independent suspension that permits more wheel travel. A
handling package, which includes adaptive dampers, quicker steering and
fatter anti-roll bars will also be available, while curb weight is said to
fall somewhere between 3,400 and 3,700 pounds. Read more
